  1. Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera contains various antioxidants, enzymes, vitamin A & C. It has rejuvenating properties which remove dead cells and enrich the skin. Since, it is suitable for all skin types, let’s just say this is the best thing you can use on your skin.

Directions to get Glowing Skin:

Cut a part of a leaf of the Aloe Vera plant, remove the outer green layer and gently massage your face and neck with the remaining portion. Let it stay for 15 – 20 minutes, then wash clean with lukewarm water. Repeat this twice or thrice every week.

  1. Lemon:

Lemon contains vitamin C which lightens the skin and also causes exfoliation of the skin leaving it radiant and glowing naturally.

Directions to get Glowing Skin:

Rub a half-cut lemon on the face in circular motions. Do this gently so that there is no damage to the sensitive portions. Leave it on for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Repeat this once or twice every week.

  1. Turmeric:

Turmeric has strong antioxidant, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It enhances collagen production in the skin. It cleanses the skin and kills any bacteria on it.

Directions to get Glowing Skin:

Take ½ tsp turmeric powder in a bowl and mix it with milk or water. Apply this mixture to the face with a cotton swab. Leave it on for 5 – 10 minutes and rinse it off with water. Repeat this once or twice every week.

  1. Milk & Honey:

This is an old formula for healthy skin. Raw Milk contains ingredients like saturated fats, calcium, protein which are good for the skin. It also keeps the melanin in the skin under check thus, improving the complexion. Honey is known for its moisturizing properties. Since it is also anti-bacterial, it prevents the occurrence of zits and pimples.

Mix 2 tsp of milk with 1 tsp of honey into a paste and apply the pack to the face. Leave it on for 15 – 20 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat this thrice a week.

  1. Sandalwood Paste & Rose Water:

Sandalwood lightens dark spots, blemishes and reduces pigmentation. Rose water is particularly used as a skin toner. It balances the pH of the skin. This is an excellent combination that works well with all skin types.

Directions to get Glowing Skin:

Mix 1 tsp Sandalwood powder / paste with 1 tsp Rose water and apply it to the face with a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 – 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Repeat this 2 or 3 times a week.

  1. Papaya:

Ripe papaya contains an enzyme papain, which acts as a mild exfoliator. It cleanses the pores and brings a natural radiance to the skin.

Cut a small piece of a ripe Papaya and rub it gently on the skin. Leave it on for 15 – 20 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat twice a week.

  1. Cucumber & Yogurt:

Cucumber acts as a cooling agent and replenishes the skin. It also reduces any kind of swelling. Yogurt contains lactic acid which has natural bleaching properties.

Grate a small Cucumber and mix it with Yogurt. Apply this mask to the face and leave it on till it dries, then wash it off. Repeat twice or thrice a week.
