Most therapists generally have a Doctors / Masters’ Degree with a specialisation either in Clinical or Counselling Psychology. In addition to that, some more certificate courses such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Art Therapy, REBT, Clinical Hypnotherapy etc are also acquired over a period of time

The kind of rapport and comfort level you share with the therapist will highly influence the level of progress you will make during the sessions. Hence, look for Therapists who possess specific skills such as active listening, empathy, genuine interest, acceptance and professionalism.

How many years of experience?
