Self-esteem is your view of yourself and your abilities in a nutshell. It can be high, low, or somewhere in the middle. While everyone has questions about themselves from time to time, poor self-esteem can leave you feeling insecure and unproductive. You might be able to pinpoint a few factors influencing your self-esteem (whether you’re being bullied or feeling lonely), or it could remain a mystery. In any case, if you’re wondering how to boost your self-esteem, here are some of our best recommendations.

  1. Take care of yourself.

3. Get your feet moving!

Exercise is an excellent approach to boost motivation, practise goal setting, and boost confidence. Breaking a sweat also triggers the production of endorphins, or feel-good hormones.

4. Concentrate on what you can alter.

5. Do what brings you joy.

6. Nobody is flawless.
Always aspire to be the best version of yourself, but recognise that perfection is an unattainable aim.

7. Keep in mind that everyone makes mistakes.

You have to make mistakes in order to learn and progress, so don’t be too hard on yourself if you forget to press CTRL+S on a crucial task. Everybody has been there.

8. Celebrate the little things.

This morning, you were on time. Tick. Your eggs were perfectly poached. Winning. Celebrating minor accomplishments is an excellent strategy to boost confidence and begin to feel better about yourself.

Try this: at the conclusion of each day, write down three things you performed well.

9. Be a friend.

Being helpful and kind to others will not only lift their spirits, but it will also make you feel fairly good about yourself.
