Lead a Happy Life – Learn to Write Gratitude Journal with 5 Steps

Studies show that gratitude helps you to live a happier, healthier, and more vibrant life. If you wish to lead a happy life then what can be better than starting a gratitude journal to keep a track of your journey!

Why do we tend to think negatively?

At one point in history, we were hunter-gatherers and our brains were designed to protect us and to somehow make us survive. The brain constantly scanned the surroundings to see if there is some threat or obstacle. Our brain worked in fight or flight mode to keep us safe (possibly from wild animals, harsh weather, other elements of nature).

We have evolved a lot since then and we are no longer in a constant state of danger but our brains still work in default mode and still look for the problems!

Due to the reason stated above(and taking other factors into consideration), the majority of our thinking leans towards the negative spectrum over the positive ones! So now it becomes our job to help our brain to relax and intentionally look for the good to lead a happy life.

Find the good

No matter how stuck you are in life, there is always something you can be grateful for. It can be anything say- you can always be thankful for sunshine, for your breath, for trees, for your eyes, or for your ability to read and understand this blog!

When you look closely and reflect you will observe that it’s the little things in life that give us the greatest joy and help us to lead a happy life.
