Just like so many of you reading this, Priya was a young girl who had her dreams and ambitions. However, life had other plans for her and she got married at a young age when she was 21. She married a lovely human being whom she is proud to call her husband and they are blessed with two beautiful children. Her family is perfect and everything she could have asked for. Love, support, encouragement, status, wealth…She had it all and yet she felt completely lost, without a purpose, empty…as if something was missing from her perfect from outside life.
She started many small businesses on the side, followed her passion for cooking and sports, maintained a great social life, all while juggling being the homemaker of her dreams. But success felt empty. Happiness felt hollow. Something did not feel right. Before she knew it she was slipping into depression and she wanted to do something about it.
She wanted to find her identity beyond the roles she had to play as a wife, mother, and homemaker. She took great pride in her family and her home, and being a homemaker is a beautiful job. But she didn’t want to feel like JUST a housewife. There is great honor and respect in this role, but this alone is not a woman’s identity. A woman can be all this and MORE. Her journey took a new turn when she met her coach and mentor. She came alive. She felt confident. She started to dream, She started to believe again. She started to achieve.
