If you wish to heal yourself you must understand that there is a connection between our mind and body i.e. what our brain thinks is felt by our body as well! To heal yourself is to improve your mind, as you improve your body by doing exercise. By changing your way and perspective towards the world you can improve your physical and emotional well-being. A healthy mindset is very important for a healthy body.

A few years back, I had a problem that I was disconnected from everything that was going on in my life. As a writer, I was not able to find my muse. Not able to sleep or eat properly. I don’t know what to do, how will I be able to write further. Then I met a Healing Expert who helped and guided me to heal my mind and body. I tried several healing practices suggested by my healing expert. I am sharing some of them here.


Here 7 ways if you wish to heal yourself:

  • Be Optimistic: It is revealed through many types of research done that people who are optimistic in their life have less chance of getting sick. So to heal yourself you should apply this mantra to be positive and optimistic in life. As it boosts your immunity. When you have a positive outlook towards the world it influences your health and thus you become stronger.
  • Sleep More: Getting enough sleep is the solutions to many problems in our body. It is a known fact that the body needs some rest otherwise it will not function efficiently. People sleep very little forcing their body to work overtime. Not sleeping well affects your physical and mental health. The basic time frame for which a person should sleep is 6-8 hours to give the body rest.
  • Do Meditation: Meditation slower your body from ageing. It helps to concentrate and remove the age-related disease. If you meditate 30 minutes daily then you will become youthful and active. Meditation has life-long benefits. It can be done in any age groups. Considered very good for health and body heals by doing it.
  • Laugh as much as you can! To heal your heart disease or any other laughter is considered the best medicine. Laughter decreases our stress, reduces inflammation and there is a proper circulation of blood in your body. There are many positive qualities of laughter.
  • Eat nutritious food: Nutrients rich food which have macronutrients and micronutrients like vitamins and minerals, carbohydrates, fats and proteins is good for the body. It will recover fast if you eat all things in balanced proportions. Eat fresh food and also which are colorful like a rainbow. It will induce your hunger and motivate you. Keep fresh food in your house. Don’t eat stale or fast food.


  • Work Out: Exercising daily gives us energy and overall mood and we feel relaxed and happy. Regular work out is good for both physical and mental health. But if you are starting then you should do take a small step i.e. to do one at a time. It delivers oxygens and nutrients to every part of the body stimulating chemical balance. Be smart, sleep well, stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet, be optimistic and do work out and then you can see the results not only will you feel better but you can keep sickness away from you!
  • Focus on your motive: If you know what is the meaning and purpose of your life then you can increase the length of life. People who know that they are doing meaningful things live longer, healthier and happier. Whatever you do put your soul into it. What is more good knowing every day that you have a reason to stay in the world for others increases your longevity.

As a person, you should know that you can only heal yourself. Your mind is your best friend if you use it properly. Learn to train your brain so that your body can perform at its peak. Everyone can build mental strength. With exercises and healing practices, you can also find the key to living a longer, happier life.
