My friend Sanjana, had a mixture of feelings which she was trying to cope with. She used to have anxiety, feeling of emptiness (although she has a joint family). She was feeling alone, not able to talk or share her experiences with others. At one point Sanjana was so much depressed and upset that she started to think that what’s the meaning of her life? She used to judge herself a lot. Then her parents took her to the Spiritual coach, who guided her and gave her valuable tips on how to maintain spiritual health.

Here are 7 valuable tips to boost up your spiritual health:

  • Explore your Spiritual side: You should try to know yourself as much as you can. Question yourself that who are you? Why you are here? What is the purpose of your life? These things will let you explore your inner self and you will get knowledge about yourself what is good and bad for you. Start believing in yourself. Always try to give others without expecting. This will lead you to the path of spirituality.
  • Live in present: To be happy and contented in your life, you should try to live in the moment. Don’t worry about the past as you can’t change it. Similarly, the future is not known then why waste time? pondering what will happen? So make choices and control your present as it is in your hands. Look for deeper meanings and observe the patterns in your life. This will lead you to a healthy life.
  • Spit it out: Holding on to something will ruin your health. So it is good that at the end of the day try to spit out all your tensions, worries or confusion. You can maintain a diary and write what you feel about something. Forget, Forgive and let go make this mantra of your life. It will give you peace of mind. You will be in a good health.
  • Practice Yoga and Meditation: Holistic way to keep your body physically fit can be done by practising Yoga. It is considered to improve your spiritual health by reducing emotional and physical stress and boost up the immune system. On the other hand, Meditation will relax your mind and make you mentally strong to face difficulties in your life.
  • Travelling: Travel to new places and take out time for yourself. You can be away from all the distractions and disturbances for some time. Take this time to rest and to ponder over yourself. Explore and be mesmerized by the beauty of nature. Release all your stress and focus your mind to go on the right path.
  • Think Positive: Be away from all the negative thoughts coming to you. Don’t overthink things. Let it be as it is. Focus on thinking positive and once you do that all your negativity will be eliminated and you will be relaxed and peaceful.
  • Be Grateful and Loving: Be Grateful for what you have in your life and enjoy what you have. Because everybody doesn’t get everything in life. Be satisfied with your accomplishment as it will give you mental peace. Love others unconditionally. Take care of them and don’t expect anything in return.
